Let’s just say that Nutro was like the Old Yeller of dog-food brands—somewhere around the last few minutes of the film. Once a pioneer of organic, preservative-free kibble, Nutro’s days seemed numbered in this new era of “natural” dog food, with hundreds of new similar options.
So we gave them the revitalized messaging they needed. We leveraged the momentum of “Clean Eating” for people, with “Feeding Clean” for dogs. And since clean food boosts your energy, dogs who eat clean, get dirty.
The campaign revived the brand and won a Silver Effie for Brand Renaissance.
